Hobbies Aloft is located in beautiful Monterey, on California's Central Coast.

Our primary flying field is located on the former Fort Ord, and is operated by the Army's Outdoor Recreation Department of the Presidio of Monterey. A map and driving instructions are available here. Current weather information is also available.

The high dunes along much of Monterey's coast provide a number of locations for flying gliders, as well. Some of these are indicated on our glider site map, but there are many more spots equally well suited to gliders and sailplanes.
