• From Hwy 1 take main Fort Ord/CSUMB entrance to second light (North South Road).
• Turn left onto North South Road and go to 3rd St./Inter-Garrison Road.
• Turn right onto 3rd St./Inter-Garrison Road. Go down Inter-Garrison Road past the college and past Schonover Housing. Pass through the barricade and continue down Inter-Garrison Road to West Camp Road.
• Turn right onto West Camp Road and go about 1/4 mile to Watkins Gate Road.
• Turn left onto Watkins Gate Rd.
• Take the next right (dirt road) about 100m down Watkins Gate Rd.
• Follow road to field. The field is about 600' x 50' and composed of packed clay/dirt.

The field is administed by the Outdoor Recreation Deptartment of the Presidio of Monterey and located on the former Fort Ord, no military affiliation required, annual fee $25, 831-242-6132/5506. (POC: R. Smith, 831-384-7139) Dimensions of the field are approximately 600 ft. X 50 ft. and composed of packed clay and dirt, and situated generally East - West. There is ample parking and area to set up. A frequency board is utilized to prevent radio accidents. Winds are generally light and from the east in the morning, and stronger and from the west around noon.
